ADMISSION PROCESS

We welcome you to experience an authentic Montessori community in action!

Step 1: Tour Our School Community

As a first step, we invite you to schedule a tour of our school. You will meet with our Head of School to discuss your goals for your child’s educational journey, tour our classroom environments, see children engaged in meaningful work, and meet our AMI-trained Guides while learning more about the Montessori philosophy and the gift it has to offer your child.

Step 2: Submit an Application

Montessori Lab School has rolling admissions throughout the school year based on classroom space availability. We accept applications for immediate or future enrollment. Applications for the 2023-24 academic year are currently being accepted.

Submit your child’s Application for Admission, including both the Child and Family Profile and Short Answer Questions, complete with payment of your $75 application fee.

Step 3: Schedule a Classroom Visit

Upon submission of your child’s application, we will coordinate a time for your child to spend time in the classroom. This allows our guides to engage with your child and assess how your child engages within the classroom environment.

For our youngest children, this will be an hour-long visit and parents will stay to observe and/or meet with our Head of School.

For Elementary, your child will spend a day with us. The classroom Guide will follow up with you to share insights, and will answer any questions that you may have.

Step 4: Acceptance and Enrollment

Following the classroom visit, we will reach out to you with a letter of acceptance and an offer for enrollment and/or a space on our waiting list.
